So, in my day-job, I do SEO, or Search Engine Optimization. My latest freelance job is for a group of self storage facilities called Wyco Self Storage. Wyco SelfStorage has the following self storage facilities:
Aurora Storage Center, serving Aurora and Denver, CO
Castle Rock Storage Haus, serving South Denver, Monument and Colorado Springs, CO
Austin Bluffs Self Storage, serving Colorado Springs and Pueblo, CO
Mountain Self Storage, Serving Colorado Springs, and Fort Carson, CO
Glendo Self Storage, serving Northern Colorado, Cheyenne, WY
It's interesting doing a smaller website such as Wyco Self Storage since I usually work on larger corporate sites. In fact, it is sometimes more difficult, since larger sites are often database driven, so you can make an SEO change that affects 4,000 pages, for example, all at once. Smaller sites are often straight html, so all changes have to be manual. Also, large sites get links from press releases and, you know, MSNBC - press coverage from the major news organizations. But with smaller sites you typically have more control over the exact changes you want to make as well as doing work in a smaller niche - less competition on keywords. It's an interesting mixup of SEO, and I learned alot from doing this site.
