<rant>I know I'm ranting again, but when has advertising become the product? I go shopping for athletic clothes and I can't find anything without a Nike or Adidas or some other fucking logo plastered over the front of the shirt or shorts! I know that there are people out there who proudly buy and wear those branded clothing for some supposed ego or pride boost, but it's just unfathomable to me. Fuck! I am not paying for the privilege of advertising for them, and until the day they pay me to advertise I refuse to buy another freakin' thing with a swoosh (or whatever) on it! Sheesh!</rant> ========================= I hear that Time Square actually used to be sorta interesting, with hookers competing for space with the theaters, drugs and pimps, but since Giuliani it's just a place to show ads on large video screens. ========================= In the depths of your despair, when you feel parts of you broken and brokedown, realize for the moment the possibility that someone out there is broken in opposite ways, and somehow the jagged pieces will fit, healing you both. ========================= My friend Lisa and I came up with a term called "Geographic" as in "Pulling a geographic" meaning when things get rough where you are at, it's the desire to move to a new place/state to get-a-new perspective-on- life/escape-the-past/whatever. ========================= You got it all wrong. You weren't saving me. I wasn't able to save you.
